These are not generic AI tips. Each recipe is a tested, opinionated prompt or custom Gem designed for a specific workflow — with real OppFi context baked into the examples.
💎 What is a Gemini Gem?
A Gem is a custom version of Gemini that you can create to act as a permanent expert for a specific task. Instead of copy-pasting a long prompt every time, you can just click on your Gem and start talking.
How to create a Gem:
- Open Gemini (gemini.google.com)
- In the sidebar, click Gems (or the + icon next to it)
- Give your Gem a Name and Description
- Paste the System Instructions from the recipe pages below
- Add any listed Knowledge Documents if required
- Click Create — you now have a permanent expert in your sidebar!
📜 What is a Gemini Prompt?
A Prompt is a one-time instruction set designed for specific, variable tasks. These are best used for "one-and-done" work where you need to provide a large amount of raw data (like spreadsheets or Slack threads) and get a structured output.
How to use a Prompt:
- Open the Prompt page below
- Copy the text in the THE PROMPT block
- Replace any [PASTE ... HERE] sections with your actual data
- Paste the full text into Gemini
